DOW Closes at Record High - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) -- Today was a record-setting day on Wall Street.

The DOW Jones industrial average hit an all time high.

Shortly after the opening bell the index hit 14,222 and ended up closing at 14,254.

The previous all time high was 14,164, set back in October 2007.

That means the DOW has erased the 54-percent loss it suffered in the 2007-2009 bear market.

The stock market closed today at 14,254.

Analysts say we could see the market continue to climb in coming weeks.
