Volkswagen's Golf 7 Wins Geneva Motor Show's Car of the Year Award

(KCEN) -- The Geneva Motor Show is ready to open the public on Thursday but the media got a sneak peek of the Car of the Year for 2013.

The honor went to the Volkswagen Golf 7 for what judges called its high level of quality and outstanding driving performance.

The Golf beat out seven other finalists.

The Subaru BRZ and Volvo V-40 round out the top three.

The winners were chosen by a jury of 58 automobile journalists from 22 countries.
