Some great news for local moms looking for a bargain.
The Just Between Friends maternity and children's consignment shop is now up and running at the Bell County Expo Center.
For the first time Central Texas mom Kristen Lind made her way over to the Just Between Friends mom and kids consignment sale.
"Just didn't know what to expect, and I think it's awesome I've found several good deals and found a little children's day be for 20 dollars," said Lind.
On average you can expect to pay 50 to 80 percent less for these items, than you would buying them brand new.
"It's way cheaper and they wear them out so quick anyways its just it's ridiculous to pay full price, I think," said shopper Liz Haney.
The items range from children's clothes, to toys, and even maternity wear.
"We go through an inspection process and we actually have a safety recall person who makes sure that there's no recalls on the floor, the clothes are inspected for tears and stains so we have nice product on the floor," said owner Theresa Spaulding.
Normally thinks like a bassinet would retail for about 100 dollars, but at the consignment sale its on sale for only 20 dollars.
When moms are done shopping for the kiddos, they can always get something a little extra for themselves.
"It's great to be able to offer people such a great deal, I mean people can come in and spend 50 bucks and go home with 10, 20 items for their kids," said Spaulding.
And with kids they way they are, saving a dime can go a long way for this mom.
"Whether they play outside or the eat spaghetti and they get pasta sauce all over them and the next thing you know by the time they've worn it twice they've already grown out of it," said Lind.
And she got exactly what she was hoping for, good deals and lots of clothes.
