(KCEN) -- Preparations are underway at the Vatican before the start of the conclave.
Today workers installed a special chimney on the roof of the Sistine Chapel.
White smoke from that chimney will signal the election of a new pope.
One-hundred-fifteen eligible cardinals will gather in the Sistine Chapel when the conclave begins on Tuesday.
The conclave will begin with a morning mass and will then move to the Sistine Chapel for the first round of secret balloting that afternoon.
