Massive Fire at Iron Bridge Park Fully Contained

(KCEN) -- Firefighters have now fully contained the Iron Bridge Park fire.

The fire broke out a week ago today and scorched a total of 503 acres.

Texas Forest Service officials credit the hard work of firefighters and mother nature for extinguishing the fire.

Friday's rain helped bring the fire under control.

No homes were damaged in the week long blaze.
