(KCEN) -- This week President Obama is reaching out to Republicans to try to compromise on yet another budget deadline.
Also this week, presidential hopefuls will try to get noticed at a yearly conservative conference.
The President is currently working to come up with a deal that will ease the blow of the spending cuts that went into affect this month.
House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan will unveil his own spending plan tomorrow.
But this week the focus is on the Conservative Political Action Conference.
Presidential hopefuls will be appealing to the right.
Ryan said, "We think it's unfair to ask hard-working taxpayers to spend more so Washington can spend more. We think we should balance the budget."
The Senate is also expected to unveil two spending plans this week, one to get the country through the year and the other for next year.
