(KCEN) -- Need a caffeine fix?

Forget about coffee or soda, there's a new pick-me-up in town.

Wrigley's is launching a new product, caffeinated gum.

It's called Alert Energy Caffeine Gum and contains the caffeine equivalent of a half a cup of coffee.

The gum will come in fruit and mint flavors with a bitter taste, kind of like an energy drink.

And on the packaging it says it is not recommended for children.

The gum hits stores in April.
