(KCEN) -- A Temple man is in jail after police caught him with marijuana and a controlled substance.
Around 4 p.m. on March 7, officers conducted a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 500 block of South 15th Street.
While they were executing the warrant, officers found more than 9 pounds of marijuana and more than 4 ounces of a controlled substance.
The suspect who possessed the drugs was Scott Mitchell Johnson, 38, of Temple.
Johnson was taken to the Bell County Jail where he was charged with felony possession of marijuana over five pounds and under 50 pound and possession of a controlled substance.
