San Antonio Hockey Player Stumbles Into Strangers' Home, Falls Asleep

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- While drunk and stumbling home, a San Antonio hockey player walked into the wrong house and fell asleep.

Now he's charged with criminal trespassing.

A woman and three kids woke up to find Scott Timmins on their couch Monday morning.

The woman called 9-1-1.

The women's husband Benjamin Garza said, "I said, 'You're lucky I wasn't here, because I would have put a bullet between your eyes and you know it would have been all over for you."

Timmins told police he had been drinking at a nearby bar.

And police say he was so drunk he couldn't keep his balance and didn't remember how he got into the home.
