Twinkies To Return to Store Shelves Soon

(KCEN) -- Twinkie and Ding Dong lovers can now rest assured their favorite treat will return to store shelves very soon.

Hostess brands has announced that buyout firms have agreed to purchase the Hostess and Dolly Madison cake brands, which includes Twinkies.

The proposed transaction includes the brand's five bakeries and equipment for $410 million.

The company will ask the U.S. Bankruptcy Court to approve the transaction at a hearing March 19.
