(KCEN) -- Mississippi lawmakers are not fans of New York City's plan to ban large sugary drinks, so they made a ban of their own.
Lawmakers passed a bill informally known as the Anti-Bloomberg Bill, named after the Big Apple's mayor.
The law says county and city governments in Mississippi cannot ban large sodas or put other limitations on food and rinks.
The Anti-Bloomberg Bill is still waiting a signature from Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant.
