(KCEN) -- A new study warns breast cancer patients to avoid high fat dairy products.
Women who consumed one or more daily servings of high fat dairy had a 49 percent increased risk of dying from the disease.
Researchers say these products contain higher levels of estrogen, which comes from the milk of pregnant cows.
Estrogen exposure has been linked to breast cancer.
Therefore breast cancer patients may want to avoid whole milk, ice cream and custard, as well as full fat cheeses and yogurt.
