(KCEN) -- There is good news on the jobs front as thousands of new jobs expected in an unexpected industry.
You might not expect to find many jobs in the space industry these days, but a new study from the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International reveals that thousands of new jobs are on the way in cities across the nation.
The unmanned aircraft industry will create 70,000 jobs once it's fully integrated into the U.S. National Airspace System in 2015.
And by 2025 the study projects more than 100,000 new jobs will be available.
The total economic impact of the unmanned rocket industry is projected to surpass 13.6 billion dollars.
