(KCEN) -- Today was the final day of the Conservatives Political Action Conference better known as CPAC.
The biggest names of the GOP took to the stage the past three days.
Including Texas Senator Ted Cruz who closed out the conference with a fiery speech.
"So I am going to tell you a dirty little secret that the mainstream media somehow won't pass on to you. For the last three weeks conservatives have been winning," said Senator Cruz.
A straw vote was taken to see who conference attendees want to run for president in 2016.
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul got first place with Florida Senator Marco Rubio taking second place.
