(KCEN) --  A troop of Oregon Girl Scouts were at the center of a nasty prank.

Someone ordered 6,000 boxes of cookies and then never claimed them.

That's $24-thousand worth of Thin Mints and Caramel Delights.

So today the community of Portland came together for a huge cookie rally.

The girls sold around 3,000 boxes and plan to host another rally next weekend.
