(KCEN) -- The Transportation Security Administration claims sequester-caused airport security delays are on the horizon.
That means you could be spending more time at the airport before you get to your destination.
The TSA says spending cuts have caused a hiring freeze and that will leave thousands of screener jobs unfilled.
Those reductions are expected to slow passenger screening times by at least 30 minutes during the busy summer travel season.
They warn some passengers could wait even longer depending on the airport and peak travel times.
