UPDATE: A 19-year-old man is being held on attempted capital murder charges following a domestic dispute Monday night.
Waco Police responded to the 2000 block of Lyle Avenue for a call about a domestic dispute. The man was fighting with his girlfriend and his grandfather inside the home. Officers say he was armed and turned toward them in a threatening manner. Police officers then shot him in the abdomen. Steve Anderson with Waco Police says the man was taken to the hospital, treated and released Monday night. The suspect is now being held on charges of attempted capital murder.
