(KCEN) -- Easter's coming up right around the corner, but Americans are spending less this year on the holiday.
According to a new survey from the National Retail Federation, conducted by Big-Insight, the average person will spend just slightly over 145 dollars on Easter goodies.
That's almost exactly the same as last year.
The survey found that the vast majority of the Easter budget goes toward food for a family brunch or dinner.
More than 63 percent of consumers will visit discount stores for their Easter needs while 40 percent will shop at their favorite department store.
