Boil Water Notice Issued for Part of Lorena - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

UPDATE (KCEN) -- The boil water notice that was issued earlier this week for parts of Lorena has now been lifted. The water is safe for consumption.

(KCEN) -- A boil water notice has been issued for people living in part of Lorena.

A water main break has compromised the water quality in the area.

All residents on the east side of I-35 in Lorena should boil their water once water is restored. As of now, it is shut off, but it should be boiled before consumption.

Crews are working to repair the damage.
