(KCEN) -- A team in the Atlantic Ocean believes they've found two of the booster engines from Apollo 11, the mammoth rocket that first landed man on the moon in July of 1969.
Many have wondered what happened to those engines that fell into the ocean after boosting the spacecraft into orbit.
Amazon Founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos was one of those people, so he privately funded the search for the Apollo 11 engines.
The discovery was made in the Atlantic Ocean 360 miles east of the Cape Kennedy launch pad.
The engines were recovered from 14,000 feet of water and brought back to Florida today.
NASA has congratulated Bezos.
But what he'll do with the hardware is unclear.
Likely they'll end up on display.
