Longview PD release name of victim in shooting

UPDATE: LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview Police have released the name of the victim who was shot Sunday on Bonner Street.

Joey Lee Henderson, 19, was shot around 5 p.m. A woman was also shot and was sent to Good Shepherd Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.

Police believe drugs were involved and are still looking for leads on suspects involved.


UPDATE:

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview police investigators say one person is dead, another sent to the hospital after a shooting.

It happened just after 5 PM on Bonner Street in Longview.

Witnesses say it was a drive by shooting.

Police say the person who was injured was sent to Good Shepherd Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Police are still investigating the cause of the shooting.

Witnesses at the scene says they heard multiple gunshots before they saw a gold colored car drive away.
