SSG Juan Alvarado said that after Hasan fired at him and missed he witnessed his gunfight with police.

Hasan then asked Alvarado to clarify what he saw.

Alvarado said, "She was holding her weapon down on the floor and it jammed. One officer came, and I heard fire exchange and you fell."

Hasan then asked, "Are you saying that after she was down that I continued to fire at her?

Alvarado replied, "Yes."

Also in court a computer forensic analyst described recent searches for words like Taliban and Jihad Muslim in Hasan's computer.

The very last thing viewed on the laptop just two hours before the attack was a call to Jihad.
