Diabetes Seminar To Educate School Personnel

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- Students with diabetes are familiar with how to manage their condition during the long days at school, but for school personnel, this disease may be unfamiliar.

On Sept. 3, Dr. Stephen Ponder will host "Taking Diabetes to School," a webinar that seeks to educate school personnel across the U.S. about the basic aspects of this chronic condition.

People who participate will learn about current diabetes management techniques, useful technologies, critical situation response during both school and extra curricular activities, and how to provide the safest learning environment for their students.
