Boston Marathon Registration

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- A terror attack will not drive them away.

It's registration time for the Boston Marathon. This year, 9,000 additional spots have been added.

The coveted entries were added to help accommodate the 5,000 runners who couldn't finish the race in April because of the bombings.

The Boston Athletic Association will plant yellow daffodils along the race route as a sign of rebirth.

The double bombings near the finish line killed three people and injured at least 264.
