WWII Vet Climbs Back in the Cockpit

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- A World War II veteran climbs back into a B-17 bomber, and flies back in time.

89-year-old Dudley Brown suited up in his bomber jacket on Sunday near Charlotte, North Carolina. He then boarded the Memphis Belle B-17 WWII bomber airplane, the same kind of plane Brown flew on in 33 missions during World War II.

The flight brought back a world of memories for the "8th Air Force" veteran.
