(KCEN) -- The Killeen Police Department made two arrests for illegal gambling on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the Killeen Police Special Investigation Division gave search warrants to The Booze Liquor Store and Gateway Food Mart. Complaints of illegal gambling had been reported at these locations.

Undercover officers were able to confirm illegal gambling machines in the businesses and had been profiting from the illegal activity.

The gambling devices and $37,000 were seized from the locations.

Twenty-seven-year-old Sagar Khatri and 55-year-old Clara Guzman, both of Killeen, were arrested.

Officials believed more arrests are expected to be made with this investigation.
