Fire In Killeen, Everyone Safe

(KCEN) - At 4:56 PM, Killeen Fire Department, along with Harker Heights Fire Department, was called to the scene of a fire on Fawn Drive in Killeen on Sunday. 

The fire was on the backside of the house with heavy flames and was contained to the outside of the house with minor damage. The fire departments were able to put out the fire fifteen minutes after arriving at the scene.

A man and woman got out with their three dogs. The owners of the house have family in the area that they can stay with, but the Red Cross will assist them if needed.

There is no cause yet on why the fire broke out, but it is being investigated.
