Bell County Sheriffs Investigating Possible Murder of Elderly Man

(KCEN)-- Belly County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a possible murder of a Killeen man whose home was ransacked.

Saturday at 6AM, Bell County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to 17635 FM 439 East of Killeen in Bell County.

Upon arrival at the scene Deputies met with Killeen Fire Department Ambulance Medics who advised that they had discovered a deceased male in the back yard.

83-year-old Jack B Ray was pronounced dead by Bell County JP Bill Cooke.

Judge Cooke ordered the body to be taken to the Southwest Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas for an autopsy.

Sheriff's Investigators who are being assisted by the Texas Rangers continue their investigation at this time.
