Rabid Kitten Found in Waco

(KCEN) -- A rabid kitten was found in Waco.

This kitten was found on Wednesday, October 9 at the intersection of North 19th Street and Park Lake Drive in Waco.

The kitten is described as a female, smoke grey in color, 8-10 weeks old, and 1.5 pounds.

Anyone that came in contact with this kitten got vaccinated with a series of rabies shots. The City of Waco says that if you were exposed to the kitten from Sunday, September 29 through Wednesday, October 9 you should seek medical evaluation immediately.
