White House Tours Resume Nov. 5

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- If you want to take a tour of the White House, you may still have to wait a while.

After canceling self-guided tours because of budget cuts, those tours will resume Nov. 5, just on a limited basis.

They'll only be allowed an average of three days a week according to the Secret Service.

In the meantime, the White House gardens and grounds will be open to the public beginning this weekend.

Free tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.
