Student Makes Alleged Threat Against Another Troy Student

(KCEN) -- A Troy Middle School student was suspended Wednesday morning after made threats to another student over Instagram.

Police told KCEN that the student made threats to another student on Instagram on Tuesday night.

Raymond Mays Middle School officials were notified of the situation and told him that he was not allowed to ride the bus the next morning. Instead, his parents had to bring him in, so that the parents, police, and school officials could all talk about the situation.

During the meeting, the student said he had no intentions to carry out the threat.

School officials suspended the student for the rest of the week.
