WACO, Texas – Baylor announced Monday, that its volleyball match with Texas Tech Wednesday
has been moved up 30 minutes to a 6:30 p.m. tip to accommodate a larger
viewership opportunity on Fox Sports Southwest. In addition, Saturday's match on the road at Oklahoma has been set for 7 p.m.
The Bears (11-16, 3-8) will play host to the Red Raiders (9-18, 2-9) Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Baylor won this season's earlier matchup Oct. 26, in Lubbock, in four sets. The Bears have taken 16 of the last 17 matches with TTU.
The match will air on Fox Sports Southwest for Waco viewers, and all points north of Waco. For points south of Waco, the match will air on Fox Sports Southwest Plus. John Morris and former Bears' volleyball player Kristen Bates will have the play by play and color respectively.
Oklahoma's football game with Iowa State Saturday had been set for 11 a.m., prompting the volleyball start time at 7 p.m. between the Bears and Sooners.
