Event Cancellations and delays

Carter Blood Care Centers/Drives will open (Tyler, Longview, Marshall and Mt. Pleasant) and are in need of donors. Specific needs; O-negative and platlet donors. No appointment necessary. Paris Center is closed.

Chapel Hill-Kilgore game still on for tonight (Friday).

The Downtown Tyler ArtWalk, set for Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4-8 p.m., is still set to occur despite wintry weather. All participating artists have been moved indoors for the event, which is free and open to the public

East Texas Casa has postponed the "Superhero Run for Abused and Neglected Children" on Saturday December 7, 2013.

Forever Young Activity Center in Quitman closed Friday. Charitable Bingo also canceled.

Gladewater vs. Argyle has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday. December 9 at Waco Midway

Harmony ISD dismissing classes today at 10 a.m., buses will also run at 10 a.m.

Henderson Christmas Parade Cancelled 

Jacksonville Christmas Parade has been rescheduled for December 12 at 6 p.m.

Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins is dismissing classes at 10 a.m.

Kilgore Ranger Cheerleader tryouts moved to Dec. 13 due to possible inclement weather

Lindale Christmas parade scheduled for Saturday December 7, at 10 a.m. has been canceled.

New Boston vs Dangerfield rescheduled for Saturday December 7th, 2pm in  Mt. Pleasant

One American Eagle Flight at Tyler Pounds Filed canceled. According to the Tyler Morning Telegraph, an American Airlines flight scheduled to depart from Tyler at 6:15 p.m. Thursday to Dallas/ Fort Worth is canceled in anticipation of inclement weather.

Quitman Christmas Parade rescheduled for December 14, 2013 at 4 p.m.

Rusk Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled their Christmas Parade for Saturday December 14, at 10 a.m.

Senior Center Friday night dance canceled at the Tyler Senior Center has been canceled for Friday, Dec. 6 only. The Friday night dances will resume on Dec. 13.

Tyler Jaycees Christmas Parade and City of Tyler's Tree lighting postponed until Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 6 p.m.

Tyler Transit Services begins 10 a.m. on Saturday (if roads are not safe at 10 a.m. bus routes will be delayed further or be canceled for the day.)

Tyler's YMCA Reindeer Run Saturday, December 7, 2013 Registration at 8 a.m. & run starts at 9:30 a.m.

Whitehouse Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade has been rescheduled for Dec 14 Saturday 6 pm.

Wood County offices will be closing at noon today 12/06/2013.
