WACO, Texas – For the third time this season, Baylor's Nina Davis (Baylor) has been selected by a media panel as Big 12 Women's Basketball's Freshman of the Week. Oklahoma State's Tiffany Bias was chosen as the league's Player of the Week.

Nina Davis recorded her third career double-double with 18 points and a career-high 15 rebounds in Baylor's 87-80 victory over Ole Miss. The rookie was 4-of-8 (.500) from the floor and 10-of-11 (.909) from the free throw line. She added three assists and two steals.
On the season, Davis is shooting a league-leading 60-of-84 from the floor (.714) and is averaging 16 points and 7.3 rebounds. Davis' field goal percentage ranks No. 2 nationally.
Davis is just one of three Baylor freshmen to earn Big 12 Freshman of the Week honors multiple times. Brittney Griner received the award seven times during her rookie season and current senior Odyssey Sims was honored five times.
