Due to expected weather conditions the following notices have been announced by area school districts.

ALL SAINTS EPISCOPAL SCHOOL: UPDATED 1/28/2014 AT 1 P.M.: All Saints Episcopal School will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Classes will resume on Thursday, Jan. 30. 

BEAUMONT ISD: No school Wednesday.

BRIDGE CITY ISD: There will be no school Wednesday, January 29, 2014 due to icy weather conditions. Please pay attention to this website for information regarding updates. You will also be notified via the School Messenger system.

BUNA ISD: There will be a 2 hour delay start for school Wednesday January 29. However, the road conditions will be reviewed in the morning to determine if an update needs to be made at that time.

BURKEVILLE ISD: Will start at 11 a.m.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS: For the safety of staff and students, Catholic schools in the Diocese of Beaumont will be closed Wednesday. The special celebration for Catholic Schools Week called the Rainbow Mass is also cancelled. Catholic schools in Southeast Texas are St. Catherine of Siena in Port Arthur, St. Mary in Orange, Msgr. Kelly High School, St. Anne and St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica School, all in Beaumont.

CLEVELAND ISD: Closed Wednesday

COLMESNEIL: Will start at 10 a.m.

DAYTON ISD: Closed on Wednesday.

DEWEYVILLE ISD: Closed Wednesday

EAST CHAMBERS ISD: Classes will begin at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.  Buses will run 3 hours later than usual.

ERHRART SCHOOL BEAUMONT - Closed Wednesday

EVADALE: Will start at 10 a.m.

EVOLUTION ACADEMY: Closed Wednesday

HAMSHIRE-FANNETT: Late start at 10 a.m. Wednesday

HARDIN ISD: Closed Wednesday

HARDIN-JEFFERSON: Late start at 10 a.m.  Buses run 2 hours late.

HEAVEN SENT LEARNING CENTER: Heaven Sent Learning Center will be closed on Wednesday. The center will resume regular business hours on Thursday.

HIGH ISLAND ISD: Will start at 11 a.m.

HUGHEN CENTER: Hughen Center's Bob Hope School and Hebert Adult Daycare Center will be closed on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, due to inclement weather. School will resume at the usual time on Thursday, January 30, 2014. The Hebert Adult Daycare Center will resume on Thursday, January 30, 2014

HULL DAISETTA: Closed Wednesday.

JASPER ISD: Will start at 10 a.m.

KIRBYVILLE ISD: Will start at 10 a.m. Buses to run 2 hours late.

KOUNTZE ISD: Will start at 10:30 a.m.

LAMAR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY: Lamar Institute of Technology plans to resume normal operations at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Classes scheduled before 1 p.m. on Wednesday are canceled.

LAMAR STATE COLLEGE - ORANGE: Classes will resume at 1 p.m. Wednesday

LAMAR UNIVERSITY: Will resume normal class schedules at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

LEGACY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY: Closed Wednesday

LIBERTY ISD: Closed Wednesday.

LITTLE CYPRESS-MAURICEVILLE: UPDATED 10:50 A.M. TUESDAY - Classes at all Little Cypress-Mauriceville campuses have been cancelled for Wednesday, January 29, due to the winter weather conditions.

LUMBERTON ISD: Classes delayed 2 hours Wednesday.  Buses will run 2 hours late.

NEDERLAND: All Nederland I.S.D. schools and offices will be closed Wednesday January 29th

NEWTON: Late start Wednesday.  Classes at 10 a.m., buses to run 2 hours late.

ORANGEFIELD: All campuses closed Wednesday.

PORT ARTHUR ISD: Closed on Wednesday. Students and staff will report to work on Thursday, January 30.

PORT NECHES-GROVES: PNGISD Superintendent Dr. Rodney Cavness announced that all PNGISD campuses will be closed due to inclement weather on Wednesday, January 29. Classes will resume on Thursday, January 30. Information regarding extracurricular activity cancellations will be posted on the Port Neches-Groves High School website.

PREMIER HIGH SCHOOL BEAUMONT: UPDATED 11:45 A.M. TUESDAY - Premier High School of Beaumont will be closed Wednesday.  Classes will resume Thursday.

RIDGEWOOD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL PORT ARTHUR: Ridgewood Christian School in Port Arthur will be closed on Wednesday, January 29.

SABINE PASS: Closed Wednesday.

SILSBEE ISD: Classes start at 10:30 a.m. Wedneday.  Buses will run 2 hours late.

SPURGER ISD: No school Wednesday.

TEKOA ACADEMY PORT ARTHUR/ORANGE: Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies STEM School Port Arthur and Orange campuses will remain closed on Wednesday, January 29, due to inclement weather. Students and staff will return to work on Thursday, January 30, 2014.

TARKINGTON ISD: No classes Wednesday.

TRIANGLE ADVENTIST CHRISTIAN SCHOOL GROVES: No classes Wednesday.

VAL VERDE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY: No school Wednesday

VIDOR ISD: No classes will be held Wednesday.

VISTA COLLEGE Beaumont - Classes delayed until 10.

WARREN ISD: Classes will start 2 hours late Wednesday.

WEST HARDIN: UPDATED AT 2:36 P.M.  Closed Wednesday.

WEST ORANGE-COVE CISD: UPDATED 11 A.M. TUESDAY - All West Orange – Cove CISD campuses and facilities will be CLOSED all day Wednesday, Jan. 29. Staff and students should NOT report for class or work.  In accordance with state education requirements, the District will need to modify the existing school calendar to make up for days missed due to inclement weather. More information will be forthcoming

WOODVILLE ISD: Will start at 10 a.m.
