(KCEN) – Killeen Police have made a new arrest related to an August 2013 robbery at the Game Exchange.

Jessica Elaintrell Smith, a 21-year-old soldier at Fort Hood, was charged with aggravated robbery for involvement in the incident.

On Friday, August 2, 2013, at 9:13pm, officers responded to a 911 call telling them the Game Exchange located at 2501 S.W.S. Young Dr. had just been robbed.

As the officers arrived, they learned that an employee had been escorting a female customer out after closing time when two armed black males forced their way into the store. The suspects demanded money and forced the employees to the ground.

While the two suspects were in the store, the employees heard someone knocking on the back door of the building. The suspects opened the door and let a third black male suspect inside.

At this point, the third male let the female customer out the back door.

Together the three males broke several showcases containing electronics and took several items before fleeing out the back door.

As they investigated the robbery, detectives determined that the female customer was involved in the incident. She was identified and a search warrant was issued for her residence. On Feb. 6, officers recovered numerous pieces of evidence. Smith was taken into custody.

Smith's bond is set at $100,000. She is currently held in the Bell County Jail.
