Man Arrested After Attempting To Burglarize Harker Heights Home

(KCEN) -- A man was arrested after he tried to burglarize a house in Harker Heights.

On Tuesday at 11:27 p.m., a man entered a house in the 300 block of Indian Oaks Drive and proceeded to rummage through the house.  

The resident in the house was awoken by the noises. The resident then confronted the man with a firearm and held him at gunpoint until officers arrived.

When the officers arrived, the man was found to be in possession of several items from the residence, all stuffed in a pillow case.

The suspect was identified as 19-year-old Keegan Jackson. He has been charged with Burglary of a Habitation, Criminal Mischief and Possession of Marijuana. Jackson was also found to have outstanding warrants out of Brazos County for Failure to Identify.  No bonds have been set at this time.
