Two Arrested After Large Amount Of Drugs Found In Waco Home

(KCEN) -- Two people were arrested after Waco Police seized a large amount of cocaine Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday morning, Waco Police Drug Enforcement Unit and SWAT Team conducted a search warrant this morning at 2900 block of Morrow.

Detectives discovered approximately 18 ounces of Cocaine in the residence. They also found several weapons, cash, a small quantity of Marijuana and drug packaging paraphernalia.

During the search, a toddler was found sleeping in the home as well. 
Officers arrested 55-year-old Gerald Wayne Howard and 60-year-old Valecia Evette Howard.

Each of them has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance/Cocaine over 400 Grams and Endangering a Child.
The Crimes Against Children Unit and Child Protective Services responded to the scene to assist with the small child found in the home. The child is believed to be related to the above arrested individuals.
