(KCEN) -- Killeen Police have arrested a suspect in the Sunday morning stabbing at a local restaurant.

The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. in the parking lot of the IHOP located at 700 W CTE. Officers arrived on scene to find 21-year-old Kirsten Nicole Farr suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to Darnall Army Medical Center where she died from her injuries.

A tip from a witness led police to investigate Farr's ex boyfriend, 31-year-old Thomas Jeremy Jones.

After reviewing the case, a warrant was issued for Jones. He was arrested Sunday at 11:53 a.m. in Nolanville and charged with murder.

Jones will be held in the Bell County Jail. His bond is set at $1,000,000.
