Weather Blamed for at Least Two Morning Accidents in Central Texas

Posted: Updated:

Low visibility during the Tuesday morning commute is being blamed for at least a couple accidents in central Texas.

Thick fog combined with swirling mist turned the air into soup.

Visibilities in Temple dropped to a quarter mile early Tuesday morning.

In Waco and Killeen, they fell to three-quarters of a mile.

The Department of Public Safety in McLennan County reports two accidents caused by the weather.

One of them was a rollover on Spring Valley Road, the other on Cotton Belt Parkway.

No injuries were reported in either crash.
