The San Diego Business Journal has named Travel To Go, a California corporation that offers 5-Star membership vacation services, a finalist in its 2014 Family-Owned Business Awards. The award was presented on April 3, 2014 at the Paradise Point Resort & Spa, San Diego, California in front of an audience of up to 1,000 of the area’s business elite. Guest speakers include Bill Wilson, founder and CEO of Wilson Creek Winery and Vineyard, and Carmen Bianchi, founder and principal of Carmen Bianchi & Associates.

The award recognizes family businesses that are an integral part of the social and business fabric of San Diego. In addition, the high-profile awards honor the individuals and organizations that have become part of the history and culture of the region. Travel To Go, currently celebrating 24 years in the vacation industry, offers travel benefits and services to a loyal member base of 60,000. Jeanette Bunn, Co-Founder, President and CEO said “I feel privileged and blessed to be able to work among my family. People always ask how we do it. But for us, it’s just second nature. We are a close family and we really enjoy spending time together. So working together and helping each other succeed is a very positive experience.”

Ms. Bunn’s brother, Co-Founder Troy Nuňez, is Vice President of Operations and mother, Diane Sharp, is Business Manager. All have contributed to Travel To Go’s recognition as an industry leader and have worked diligently together to remain on top of the ever-changing vacation industry.
