Nutrafarms is proud to offer free-range produce and a holistic shopping experience to its consumers. Nutrafarms’ mission is straightforward: to provide families with healthy, drug-free poultry, meat, fish and pork products. They accomplish this by raising animals locally in an old-fashioned way and offering a healthier alternative to the typical mainstream grocery shopping.

On free-range farms, animals are free to roam for a portion of the day — as opposed to being confined for 24 hours. Local farmers, including those who have been farming for several generations, supply the beef. Nutrafarms forms relationships with farmers, taking a more homely approach to brining food to the table. Now, families know where their food is coming from.

“We want to offer a fresh, dynamic approach to the way food is brought to the table,” says VP, David Steele. “We offer meat products that are healthy and can meet any budget. We give our customers meat that is tasty and free of added hormones and antibiotics. And while we’re doing that, we’re supporting all the hard-working farmers of Ontario.”

All animals are treated humanely at Nutrafarms and given a high quality of life. Calves are born into a cozy barn area adorned with clean hay. They’ll be able to graze upon acres of green valley pasture for several months before they begin weaning. Cattle are raised on the healthiest diet possible, which includes fresh spring water.

Over the past two years, Nutrafarms has opened three new branches across Ontario, giving more consumers the opportunity to experience free-range meat products. Confined chickens and other animals aren’t able to behave naturally in confined habitats, and free range farms allow them to live healthier, fuller lives. Studies have shown that free-range chickens are healthier, and they may contain higher levels of vitamins A and E, and omega 3 fatty acids.

By shopping with Nutrafarms, customers will spend less time in stores and be able to fully customize their orders. Not only does Nutrafarms offer convenient delivery services, but with a three-year price guarantee (aimed to stabilize food budgets) and convenient payment plans, it suits any family.

(KCEN) – While the homeless veteran count is dropping nationwide, Killeen and Temple are seeing a spike in the number of homeless veterans – and it's not just individual veterans. “We're seeing more homeless families, and we've seen an increase in that over the last few months because of the downsizing of the military,” Paula Wood said. “It's very sad to look a family in the eye and say do you have a friend or family member you can stay with because it's going to take a month to get you re-ho...More >>

(NBC) -- A federal judge Friday threw out new Texas abortion restrictions that would have effectively closed more than a dozen clinics in the state. U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel sided with clinics that sued over one of the most disputed measures of a sweeping anti-abortion bill signed by Republican Gov. Rick Perry in 2013. The ruling stops new restrictions that would have left just seven abortion facilities open in Texas by Sept. 1; there are currently 19 providers in Texas, according to th...More >>
