UPDATE: Identity Released for Victim of Temple Fatal Crash

UPDATE: May 9, 2014, 12:30 p.m. -- The driver of the pickup truck has been identified as 78-year-old Franklin Schwake of Moody.


(KCEN) -- A driver is dead after an accident on Highway 95 in Temple on Thursday morning.

The accident happened on Highway 95 near the 363 Loop.

A pickup truck and an 18-wheeler collided Thursday morning.

Officials say that the 18-wheeler was carrying sand and are investigating the cause of the crash.

One lane is shut down on Highway 95.

No word to when the accident will be cleared.
