Funeral set for Killeen police officer

(KCEN) --  The viewing and funeral for Detective Charles "Chuck" Dinwiddie are scheduled for this weekend.

The viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Killeen (3310 S. WS Young Drive, 76542).

The funeral service will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Killeen Civic Center (3601 South SW Young Drive, 76542).

Killeen Police Detective Charles "Chuck" Dinwiddie served with the Killeen Police Department for 18 years. He was a member of the SWAT Team for 15 of those years. He died Sunday afternoon from a gun shot wound received during a multiple officer shooting on Friday.
