Posted: Updated:
(KCEN) -- Students at Belton High School were transported to the hospital Thursday afternoon after what the school is calling an "isolated medical incident."

The incident happened  between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. and school officials would not clarify what constituted it.

Two of those students were sent to the hospital, while one student was sent home with parents.

Both of the students that were transported to the hospital were conscious.

Belton officials say that the students were transported out of an abundance of caution.

The school is describing this as an "isolated medical incident."

School officials say that it is not clear yet if any disciplinary action will be taken.
