(KCEN) -- Greg Abbott and Wendy Davis have agreed to their first debate on September 30.

The debate will be held in Dallas at the WFAA-TV's Victory Park Studio in Dallas.

KCEN-TV will be airing the the one-hour debate on that Tuesday on television and online.

WFAA reports that on late Wednesday afternoon, Davis said she accepted six debate invitations. Both candidates are supposed to meet in Dallas and McAllen. Abbott's campaign said that he will only be attending the Dallas and McAllen debates.

When speaking about the opportunity to host this debate, COO Phillip H. Hurley said, "It is an exciting opportunity to participate in important broadcast, and give voters throughout the state the best chance to hear directly from the candidates."
