Flags Missing from Veterans' Graves

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- More than 150 flags are missing from veterans' graves in Bell County.

The Little River Academy Fire Department placed flags at the graves of veterans last week in honor of Memorial Day.

Officials at the department say they have so far counted a total of 163 flags missing from 3 different cemeteries in Bell County.

The department shelled out hundreds of dollars to purchase the flags.

Due to budget constraints they will not be able to replace them.
