UPDATE: Army CID Agents, FBI investigating shooting at Liberty Village, Suspect Still At Large

UPDATE: June 4, 2014, 1:40 p.m. -- Special Agents from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command and the FBI are investigating an on-post shooting.

 The shooting occurred at the Liberty Village Housing Area basketball court on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.

A non-DOD affiliated civilian man was allegedly assaulted and then shot by an unknown person after an argument.

The victim was then transported by ambulance to a local hospital.

Anyone who has information in relation to this investigation is encouraged to contact the Fort Hood Military Police at (254) 287-4001. No further information will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation.



(KCEN) -- Police say an incident near Fort Hood is all clear after reports of shots fired on Tuesday night.

Fort Hood  police responded to a call in the vicinity of Liberty Village.

Officials are calling it an isolated incident and say there is no current danger to residents or the public.

The incident remains under investigation..
