(NBC) -- Plastic surgeons are seeing a spike in younger patients visiting their offices so they can look better in selfies.

The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery finds 1 in 3 surgeons reported seeing more patients with complaints about how they look in their selfie and wanting to go under the knife to fix it.

The average age of those seeking surgery was between 20 and 30.  The most common procedures were Botox, nose jobs and chin implants.
