Silver Alert Issued for 78-year-old Man Discontinued

(KCEN) -- The Silver Alert for Bill Martin George has been discontinued.



(KCEN) -- The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 78-year-old Bill Martin George. George is diagnosed with a cognitive impairment.

George's height is 6'2" and he weighs 145 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. There is a scar on his left thigh.

George was last seen at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 15 at 8106 East Parmer Lane, Austin, TX.

He was carrying a red HEB bag and was wearing a red shirt and blue pants.

Law enforcement officials believe this senior citizen’s disappearance poses a credible threat to his own health and safety.
